What is an RSS line?

RSS initially meant « Rich Site Summary » but the acronym is often interpreted as « Really Simple Syndication » In practical terms RSS is a way of describing the contents of an Internet page or site.

The RSS line contains the titles of the articles and hypertext links with the complete articles.

It is, in fact, a simple practical way to be permanently notified of news updates on a site in which you are interested.
The lines update you automatically and permanently without you having to connect to your favourite news sites. In order to be able to read these RSS lines you must install a specific reader on your computer into which you input the address of the line you wish to follow.
